what PSi did you run in your monsoons? we used 28 and had no real probs, exept for the damp bits... we had loads of bike probs though :banghead: , shame Roo's 4.2 didnt wanna play (thanks to everyone who helped), but at least he got a go in the 3rd race (and beat kartingchamp :p) .. and i got the proddy to the finish all 3 times

PS.. ROO KNOCKED GARY (CBR6MAN) OFF!! AND CRASHED ON THE WARM UP LAP... TWICE! lol...:)

dave i ran Jr R's mate! they were fine but in the practice (didnt push it at all!!) i think it would have been different! races were fine as i say (about 21 in front and 24 in rear) i think... i needed my R slick on my the last race tho as the rear was all over the place!

PS.. ROO KNOCKED GARY (CBR6MAN) OFF!!

Ermmmm 'knocked' is maybe a bit unfair, more of a racing incident. Nah damit - yes he did. Revenge will be sweet :D

Great to put more faces to names too

Great weekend. Saturday was superb weather, great practice and chance to get used to the bike. Sunday was, well a typical February English day!!

2 crashes, 1 burnt out clutch and race bedding in kevlars but superb. Thanks to Pa for 2 great races, great fun :D and Racetech for sorting the bike out Saturday morning.

Thanks to Phoenix and Whilton for a great day. One minor quibble - 1 practice session in the morning isn't great when something goes wrong three bends in that rules you out for the rest of the session.

Roll on the start of the season.

It isnt, but it is, because at least the races didnt need to be shortened near the end of the day like last time.

I wouldn't say lnocked coz their was no contact. I was just on the dry bit Gary had planned to be on so he had to go over the wet bit... still very sorry though. :o

and the warm up lap wasn't my fault either. Lost the front held it up but ran onto the grass and lobbed it. Then crashed on the next corner because of the mud on my front tyre. could happen to any incompetant moron.

Hi it was a good day for most of us apart from me 1st race got to the grid and my pull start jammed:banghead: , 2nd race done the warm up lap turned on the rev counter and found out ma clutch was coming in at 10,500:banghead: 3rd race went ok(ish) i got 4th  but 2 blata elites in front they get marked in a diffrent class to the 4.2s dont they

i think it's all one class during the winter.

We went to one practice because there are far more classes than would be running normally....and to be honest, we didn't expect such a fantastic response to the championship, we were expecting to run a few combined classes....which coupled with red flags [two big stoppages last time], and winter daylight, meant we didn't want to risk shortened races again....sorry Gary!

Thanks to Pa for 2 great races, great fun :D

Sorry for the late reply Gary, but yes it was a brilliant day, despite the cold and the 5am start! I'd no idea who it was so close behind - the most frustrating bit was on the straight where you kept creeping alongside, amazing what difference one tooth can make... hopefully we'll have a bag of cogs to choose from next time.
I enjoyed the 4.2s, that was the first 4.2 race I'd done, Stu did a great job putting the 911 GP1 together, it ran like a dream & handled brilliantly, just wish I could ride it like Roo did in the last race!

Many thanks to Phoenix, Whilton staff, the sausage butty lady & the (thankfully redundant) ambulance crew!
Phil (aka 'Pa' !)
