Ok folks and so it begins!!!!

In order for me to work out the structure for next year I need some answers please.
I would be grateful if you can tell me which bikes you would like to ride? How old you are and how much you weigh? Obviously only if you are racing with us! If you don't want to post in an open forum please send me a pm or an email to lcrrc@hotmail.co.uk or ring anytime 07736001318
Thankyou

There is standard 140 which is out the box. i.e standard cam, piston, barrel, ignition, carb, no gas flowing, skimming ect.

Then mod 140 which is any tuning mods but 140cc.

We run 125's for juniors, 125's for adults, 140's out of the crate, 140's that are modified, modified 160s and we now have some 2 stroke ktm 65's too!!!

Standard if it is as it came off the shelf. Upto now we have had good uptake in the pits hence the reason for this post. I want to find out how many we are going to get of everything and then we can decide what to do!

like i said it of the shelf engine anyone can buy one.

jaybur82
09-12-2009, 09:25 PM
Who did you buy it off???

Some of the Stomps have Z40 cams in which are not legal in the standard. But apart from that as long as it has a Molkt 26mm carb on and no head work it would be a standard.

Does that mean if I buy one of the current stomps I need to get it modified with a non race cam then as all off the shelf Stomps now come with Z40 cams fitted (off the shelf) according to their website. But then if you do that its not manufacturer standard.

Surely standard / modified will need to be determind by the organisers as no too retailers sell the same identical units and will always try to outdo each other ???

Guess IRK's will come in to it as well ???:confuse:

This is only a fact finding mission and for that very reason we are having a debate about the 140 std at our AGM. We have explained here what we currently run and this year that grid was huge. However we do understand the differences and want current information. This thread is really only about what you have now not the regs.

Hi Nicky. Like Gritty we run 5 bikes in pitbikes. 1 x 125, 3 x 140 & 1 in the modifed. There was nothing that differentiated between stock and modified in any of the classes. In the modified class we ran a 140 with a IRK in it.

Planned bikes for this season were 3 x 140's & 2 x 160's
All 140's with 6.5mm lift cams & 2 with IRK's
160's unsure as yet to be bought but would imagine IRK's at least.

Can I take it that all the riders are over 16?

Gritty
10-12-2009, 05:27 AM
Thats why pheonix mmra and nps only run 3 classes 125 only chicky parts, upto140 only chicky parts, then modifeds up to 160 anyparts basicly.
Theres not much between a tuned and standard 140.

No. One rider is 14. Hes the tallest of the group at 6' 1" and was the one who ran a 140 in the modified.

If he can only ride in jnr classes (Which I understand due to age) we won't ride in the LCRRC am afraid.

Anyone who rode in the NPS and knows Adam from Squish can vouch for his capabilities as a rider.

Thanks

Same as my post on RMM. 70ish kg proddy or super, slight chance of 4.2. only a few rounds.

Eating chocolate pies as we speak. Is the weight with or without gear on?

Out of interest, How do fees work for running in multiple classes? Do you have to pay full entry for every class?

ROFL!

LCRRC ran 4 (and sustained 4), with the std 140's being the most subscribed class.

Tuned 140s, and your 140, can nearly match my 160, not fair for std 140's.

There will be an open pitbike class at Matchams dependent on numbers. Due to strict noise controls at Matchams you may have to run a decibel killer

Yep already sorting out the db killer bbr do one for my exhaust or going to get one made up are we aiming towards 94db as this is what ray lovell said he needs to keep the nimbys at bay or do we need to go lower.

yes you can race your bike exactly how it is the class you enter will be called open 40. The price is £85 per weekend but you can just do either day if you like. I think this is with pre book / payment and there will be a charge for late or on the day entry.
