Whilton are running a trackday on Monday April 5th

usual setup for those that have been before, 9.30-5.00pm for £25, all bikes and riders welcome, cya there :)

Martin spoke to whilton today and it's definately on 9.30-4.00pm (got the hours slightly wrong, my fault)

Good man, might go and watch the FAB round on the Sunday and then do the session day Mon !!!! Just need to convince Scott now (you know you want to)......... Lets hope the weather is good.

should be soon we will be doing most of the nights and we have been going to kinsham on sundays as well as we are not racing this year just every track day /night as we can find bring on the track days lol

I will be leaving Oxford about 07:30, so should be there for 08:30. Its due to rain tomorrow @ 07:00 and then be like today from 10:00 onwards. In real terms, means test session on !!!! Got 3 bikes and one of the lads !
Also, Congratulations to Jake (Badges son) on his 1 - 2 - 1 result in his debut race !!!!

Great day at Whilton (even though I only got on track at 12:30 as I was messing around with Bloomin bikes, but got to run the 4.2 and Proddy !!! Thanks to Badge for fuel and tools, thanks to Jase for Tools, bits, boots and thanks to Dazzer for tools and support !!!! I think that is everyone thanked !!!!

Can wait for the next one, any ideas if they have one planned? Need some more practice before May's Race !!!!

Bit slow at the start, once I got the juniors warm, really enjoyed it. Will still race the 4.2 to start though !!!!

is Jase going too ??? Funnily enough, I have already been checking it out (Premier Inn is £50 for 2 adults / 2 children), although not sure the Mrs would come (is the shopping any good in Cardiff ???)

£85 all in, I will have to see how the finances look !!!!

yes we had a great day plenty of track time and got all 6 of my bike clutches beeded in i was on a different bike every time and a lot of fast kids out there as well can not wait for the next one

All in all a very good day with loads of track time :rollis: All three of my bikes ran faultlessly which was good, it was hard to decide which one to take out next! Dry all day too. I learnt a few things, mainly that I'm not quick enough although it was hard to get a few clear laps on the trot sometimes due to having to take child avoidance measure's. Some where like milk floats! (like when your tanking it down the lanes in the early hours and there's one sitting there in the road on the exit of a fast corner:wideeyed:). It's hard as they have to practice but we also don't go to potter about, sometimes a late direction change gets a bit hairy.

Most weird is that I had three different bikes of different power levels and I put in very similar times on all of them. Need to have a think about that one :radar:

Nice meeting you yesterday Mick..My boy had a good time.with his JAWA.1st time he rode it.and your Boy gave him something to think about too.How to ride the Jawa..really GOOD photos of my boy also.thanks for putting the photos up on show who ever took them..No5 on Jawa..and 910 on minimoto..Really nice seeing some friend again after along time away from the sport..My boy (mason) cant wait until the next one..regards to all.see you soon.
