Grc aluminium front end

I've seen a few bikes with these is there any advantage in these over the steel forks and are they much lighter

ooo iv not seen them maybe i just didnt realise. i would think they would be a fair bit lighter, altho dont know how it would effect handeling,

Look at GRC's web site, I think the fork diameter has gone up rom 25 to 28mm due to the material used, so new forks yolks and clip ons required and maybe new calipar mounts?
