    whats the best carb for a cag

    hi all just out of intrest i can get a dellorto sha carb to fit my cag (with a little modding) just wondering it if would be an agvantage to go for a 16mm carb over a 14mm has anyone done that befor, or maybe even bigger

    Anything bigger than a 14/14 is overkill on a cag.

    DellOrtos are good - I agree with the "overkill" part on the 16/16 - but personally I prefer the race-ported stock carb with better jets and air cleaner. All depends on what you're looking for ....

    the only mod you should need for a sha carb would be to fit an orig. blata 2.5 intake manifold. iv'e been told there the same and they look identical. + anyone know where i can get an genuine sha 16/16 carb. i seen one on ebay couple of weeks ago but gone now cheers!
