    Which is preferred?

    Just to check with you guys. What brand of chain lub do you guys recommend?

    there are so many different types of chain lube people use that you wouldnt know where to start, i personaly use gt85 (with pte teflon) this is only 1.99 a can on ebay is is realy easy to maintain,fling free and no mess.

    I've used 3in1 oil for ages but that goes everywhere !
    so i have this 'carlube' stuff says its non fling and suitable for chains without o-rings, best of all i can get it free

    i started using silkolene chain gel, i used silkolene chain oil but loads of grit stuck to it, tried 3 in 1 for a while butt its too light

    i like that gt85 stuff seams to clean the chain up as well but there is defo something good about 3in1 oil i knoe a few people use it but like stamasman says its tooo lite would have to re apply 3in1 every day you took your bike out but dose seem good

    I used it seemed good I only got the silkolene because the motul was sold out

    been using 3 in 1 for years now and being that i havent replaced a chain in years then it must work pretty well, does make a mess though.

    Has anyone tried the Castrol chain wax?

    yep and only the once ok for big bike links, too thick for small ones.

    B&Q Value chain saw oil. Cheap as chips and works a treat on mini moto chains.
