    Line quality is good, but the connection speed is pants. You live in the sticks? if not see what I said for Jasons line

    Your upload speed is good but the download is poor. I'd consider changing to carrier pigeons.

    Has it got anything to do with me being on wireless on a laptop, and Josh is on XBOX 360 in his room and a laptop at same time (and the router is in his room)?

    Confused now, as just done another test and got this result................and the server is 850miles away, where as the 1st server was 100miles away.

    Yes, if more than one system is using the network then the speed will be divided between the systems. How this is done will be dependant on the protocol of the router. Try the test when only your pc is using the network and you will see an improvement and accurate result.
