    Hi All,

Just a quick update. I am trying to get everyones regs sorted out but the basic gist is as follows. If anyone has questions ring me.I am waiting for FAB for the gearbox regs so I will post all the rules as soon as I have the gearbox bit.

The pitbike specs will remain the same apart from the 140 standards who will now be allowed the inner rotor kit. There are minor adjustments to the junior pitbikes but nothing to do with the bikes.

The jun A class bikes will remain the same. Jun B and senior 4.2 will be as follows standard 4.2 or Italian junior restricted bike or 6.2 aircooled with 14 mm restrictor. You may use 15mm carb if you wish.

Senior/Junior open 40 will be upto 40 cc with a 15mm carb if you wish.

Senior open 50 will be upto 50cc

    Gearboxes as FAB

Matchams minimotos will remain the same apart from we will try to seperate them air or watercooled subject to numbers. I am waiting for the kart regs and will put your regs up as soon as posible.

    Laters

there isnt an aircooled class as per the old rules, the old aircooled spec bikes can now run with the old 4.2s but have a restrictor fitted. you can have a 15mm carb too but i think then theres a 2nd restricer? not 100% till Nicky sorts the full rules but basically instead of being 2 classes 4.2 and aircooled theres 1 with the old 4.2's and restriced aircooleds. so basically someone could buy the Elite thats for sale for £110 fit a restricter and have a complete race bike for the new class. the old 4.2's are a bit quicker the aircooleds have a restricter and we all go racing

Not sure ive explained that very well, you might be best calling Nicky and she can talk you through it

yeh i understand now before i ring do u know of the top what sort of restrict or it would be as a good elite puts out about 8hp and a good polini/bzm do 7to 7.5 so there is not a lot in it . most elites i have do about 7.2 [iv got 4 ] if u was to restrict it. it would probably be a very poor bike .sorry for all the questions

It's restricted in the manifold if I'm correctly informed.
